Here’s a lovely solid oak pistol presentation box. It has a working lock, with one key that is marked BLCo. My research indicates that BLCo manufactured locks in the early 20th century. I can’t say for sure when the box was made but it was either made then, or made later as a reproduction. It measures 14 3/8″ long, 6 1/2″ wide, and 2 3/8 tall. The inside is lined with blue velvet. The velvet is in great shape other than glue? Marks in the larger/bottom right compartment and some wear where the hammer lays. Everything else about the box is near perfect. I cannot guarantee fit with any specific pistol. Obviously, it was most likely made for a Colt revolver of some type, but might fit other makes. If you need to know a specific measurement please don’t hesitate to ask. I try to give any information I have about the listings, and to tell you whether the information is fact or opinion.
