This box is available only in limited quantity, new old stock… An exceptionally RARE find. The condition is like new except for some minor shelf and storage wear. This is the authentic military issued packaging for your US & S 1911A1 pistol as issued during ww2 and by the department of civilian marksmanship. All military specifications have been verified, including both outside and inside dimensions as well as the caliper of the pasteboard and paper covering. Your pistol will fit correctly in this box, snug form corner to corner which was critical for military packaging and is the first indicator of authenticity. Also of special importance in determining authenticity is the color of the kraft paper. Important to notice are the slight inconsistencies in the printing. This box is unlike ANY OTHER 1911A1 kraft boxes available on the market. Anti-corrosion cosmoline wax wrap is included inside the box to protect the pistol form corrosion and rust.
